Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a composition comprising a buffered lactic acid having a pH within the range of from 3.0 to 6.5 characterized in that the composition is a lubricant composition and that the composition has a water activity of from 0.03 to 0.60. The friction between the absorbent product and the skin/mucous membrane of the user is reduced when in contact with the skin or mucous membrane of the user. An additional advantage is that the composition has a pH in the acidic range which is close to the pH of the skin and/or mucous membrane.
