MACHINE FOR AUTOMATIC STACKING OF ARTICLES AND LOADS IN CONTAINERS

The present invention relates to conveying means, specifically machines for the automatic parcelling of piece goods. The machine according to the invention for the automatic parcelling of piece goods consists of a magazine (1) for empty pallets stacked one above the other, in which magazine are located a device (7) for removing a pallet from the stack and a horizontal plate (10) for raising a removed empty pallet, which plate can be pivoted, raised and lowered by means of a drive for an oriented feed of the empty pallets. Moreover, the machine is equipped with a device (2) for feeding empty pallets, with a parcelling device having a loading balcony (3), with a device (4) for delivering the loaded pallets, and with stores (5, 6) for parcels of goods which are ejected under the effect of drive elements (15) arranged at right angles to one another, some of the drive elements (12) being designed as raising, lowering and reversing mechanisms provided with a drive. The machine according to the invention for the automatic parcelling of piece goods allows an oriented feed of pallets to the parcelling device, with the result that the number of expensive parcelling machines for unloading wagons having goods of different dimensions can be reduced and the organisation of work in the provision of wagons at the unloading bays is simplified.
