Zusammenfassung: | The wire has an inlay (6) introduced into the gap between the superconducting layers (5) of the sections (3) being connected before the sections in the multisectioned wire are welded together. The inlay is hermetically connected to the superconducting layer. After welding the sections in the wire the hermetically-sealed cavity (9) formed in the gap is evacuated and filled with the lower-melting-point component of the intermetallic connection. The hermetic connection of the inlay with the superconducting layers is realised by spot welding with limited heat supply. The inlay is made of a material of high melting point and coated with a material of low melting point (e.g. tin plated). |
