Zusammenfassung: | 1508047 Polyiminic hydrides containing aluminium SNAMPROGETTI SpA 19 June 1975 [1 July 1974] 26212/75 Heading C2C Oligomers, suitable for use as polymerization catalysts, have the general formula in which R is a hydrocarbon radical, X and Y are hydrogen or halogen atoms bound directly to aluminium, y is 1-10 and (x+y) is not higher than 10. The oligomers tend to comprise rings of the general formulµ in which the free valencies may be partially or totally employed in linking hydrogen or halogen and/or may be utilized in the fusion of any of the rings to rings of the general formulµ The oligomers may also have a three-dimensional or open cage structure resulting from the fusion of the above ring systems with imine moieties and 4 or 6 member chains and having, e.g. the formulµ Those oligomers where all of X and Y are hydrogen are made by reacting an aluminium hydride complexed by a Lewis base with a primary amine of formula R.NH 2 for a sufficient time to produce the oligomer. The aluminium hydride may be produced in situ from lithium aluminium hydride and a Lewis acid or a Bronsted acid. Those oligomers wherein Y is halogen are made by reacting the above reaction products with an aluminium halide. |
