METHOD OF PREPARING SUBSTITUTED DERIVATIVES OF HYDRAZIDES OF A-AMINO-OXYCARBOXYLIC ACIDS OR SALTS THEREOF

Substituted alpha -aminooxycarbohydrazide derivatives of the formula I are obtained by reacting an alpha -aminooxycarbohydrazide with a compound of the general formula X = O. The substituents have the following meaning: X is a cycloalkylidene radical or a methylene group which is substituted by an alkyl radical with 1-5 carbon atoms and/or phenyl or furyl radical which is optionally substituted by halogen, hydroxyl, nitro and/or amino groups; R is hydrogen or a benzyl radical Y is hydrogen Z is an acyl radical derived from a pyridinecarboxylic acid or Y and Z together are one of the substituents which X can represent. The compounds are valuable tuberculostatics. Compounds substituted on the hydrazide group by isonicotinoyl or 5-nitrofurfurylidene group are particularly effective.
