Zusammenfassung:	A single or multi-thread extruder screw for extruders with one or more non-meshing screws for processing plastics, esp. highly crystalline polymers, e.g. polyamide or polyethyleneterephthalate, has a cylindrical or conical shaft with projections alongside the conventional thread. - These projections start from one or both sides of the main thread and have a different pitch angle, thus dividing the channel between successive threads into two or more spaces, which vary along the length of the screw. - The shaft may also comprise an axial ventilating duct in its initial part. - The advantages are improved quality and output.
