Zusammenfassung:	Herbicidal compns. for control of weeds in beet crops contain as active constituents 3-methyl-4-amino-6-phenyl-1,2,4-triazin-5-one (I) and methyl 3-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-chloropropionate (II). The compsn. has high selectivity; mixture is synergistic. Pref. compsn. contain 0.1-6 pts. of (II) per part of (I). Particularly effective against wild oat and cleavers; also effective against mustard chickweed, chamomile, scabious, fat hen, nettle etc. and grasses such as meadow grass, fescues, brome grasses, foxtails, etc. Applied in conventional formulations, pref. at 1-10 kg/ha, on post-emergence.
