Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for processing pulse signals that are proportional to the tidal volume, especially for counting and displaying pulses required for the measurement and display of the tidal volume and the respiratory minute volume in anaesthetic and therapeutic ventilators and for spontaneously breathing patients. The invention provides this means for counting and displaying using programmable, 4-digit up-down decade counters with integrated scanning memory for the tidal volume and the respiratory minute volume, and defined allocation of the control and programming inputs of these two counters.
