Zusammenfassung: | The warp knitting machine with pile sinkers and laying-in bars with a plurality of pile-thread guides which are assigned to a sliding-tongue needle and which, for the purpose of patterning, are adjustable within a gauge setting in the direction of a thread insertor, and with a guide reed which is raisable and lowerable between the pile-thread guides and the needle plane and also shoggable (laterally displaceable) and whose pile-thread alleys, formed by pairs of sinkers, guide the pile-thread groups, and guide alleys in which not only the sliding-tongue needles but also the thread insertors temporarily intervene and the pairs of sinkers are made up in each case of one guiding sinker and one inserting sinker, is to be improved, in order that patterning faults may be avoided, in respect of the separation of the patterning pile-thread from the set of pile threads and the guiding of this thread underneath the thread insertor. According to the invention, the inserting sinker of the guide reed is configured on its pile-thread guide side so that it has a recess which extends as far as the upper edge of the needle when the guide reed has been lowered. The guiding sinker, by contrast, has at a higher level a routing (guiding) edge approximately parallel to the needle plane, which keeps the set of pile threads in their position even during the shog of the guide reed. |
