The invention relates to new polycyclic compounds substituted on the A-ring. More particularly, the invention concerns new polycyclic compounds of the formula (I) (I) wherein R1 is methoxy or halogen and R2 is hydrogen; or R1 is hydrogen and R2 is halogen and acid addition salts thereof.
