Zusammenfassung:	A primary packaging for a surface-stabilized surgical dressing (3) comprises a carrier layer (4), a contact surface with adhesive regions on the side nearer the skin which is protected, before the surgical dressing is used, by a detachable covering layer (6), and a supporting film (7) which comprises at least one layer detachably applied to the surface of the carrier layer (4) farther from the skin and which can be removed from the surgical dressing (3) after application. The supporting film (7) forms part of the protective packaging of the surgical dressing (3).
