WATER-SOLUBLE NIMESULIDE SALT, PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF, ITS WATER SOLUTION, NIMESULIDE BASED COMBINATIONS AND THEIR USE

Nimesulide, also known under the name of N-(4-nitro-2-phenoxyphenyl)methanesulfonamide or 4-nitro-2-phenoxymethanesulfonanilide which is highly soluble in water, which can be used especially for the preparation of drinkable or injectable solutions of nimesulide while preserving the pharmacological and/or therapeutic antiinflammatory applications of acidic nimesulide. It can be found in the form of a water-soluble nimesulide salt consisting of the reaction product of nimesulide and L-lysine but also as an aqueous solution or the combination based on nimesulide which enhance nimesulide water-solubility compared to nimesulide-L-lysine salt. Therefore nimesulide and L-lysine are combined with at least one cyclodextrin. A pharmaceutical composition comprises an effective quantity of the nimesulide salt in combination with at least one excipient. Said water-soluble nimesulide salt, aqueous solution thereof, combination or pharmaceutical preparation containing it are employed in the treatment of inflammatory diseases.
