Disc cartridge

A disc cartridge (301; 313) comprising a cartridge body including a disc storage portion (10d), a chucking opening (11c) and head opening (11h), wherein the disc storage portion (10d) has a disc window (12w) and a bottom and stores a disc (100), having first and second sides, therein so that the disc (100) is rotatable in the disc storage portion (10d) and that the first side of the disc (100) is exposed through the disc window (12w); the chucking opening (11c) is formed on the bottom of the disc storage portion (10d) so as to get the disc (100) chucked externally; and the head opening (11h) is also formed on the bottom of the disc storage portion (10d) so as to allow a head, which reads and/or writes a signal from/on the second side (100A) of the disc (100), to access the second side (100A) of the disc (100), said disc cartridge further comprises a disc holding portion (13; 21a, 21b, 22a, 22b) for holding or releasing the disc onto/from the cartridge body, wherein at least one shutter (21) supported by the bottom of the disc storage portion (10d), and movable with-respect to, the cartridge body so as to expose or cover at least the head opening (11h), and the disc holding portion (13; 21a, 21b, 22a, 22b) holds the disc by acting on the outer periphery of the disc and by pressing the second side (100A) of the disc (100) toward the bottom of the disc storage portion (10d). A disc cartridge (301; 313) comprising a cartridge body including a disc storage portion (10d), a chucking opening (11c) and head opening (11h), wherein the disc storage portion (10d) has a disc window (12w) and a bottom and stores a disc (100), having first and second sides, therein so that the disc (100) is rotatable in the disc storage portion (10d) and that the first side of the disc (100) is exposed through the disc window (12w); the chucking opening (11c) is formed on the bottom of the disc storage portion (10d) so as to get the disc (100) chucked externally; and the head opening (11h) is also formed on the bottom of the disc storage portion (10d) so as to allow a head, which reads and/or writes a signal from/on the second side (100A) of the disc (100), to access the second side (100A) of the disc (100), said disc cartridge further comprises a disc holding portion (13; 21a, 21b, 22a, 22b) for holding or releasing the disc onto/from the cartridge body, wherein at least one shutter (21) supported by the bottom of the disc storage portion (10d), and movable with-respect to, the cartrid
