Je opísané použitie komplexu kyseliny hyalurónovej a zinku na výrobu prostriedku na liečbu artritických ochorení, ako je reumatoidná artritídy. Komplex synergicky inhibuje proliferáciu synoviálnych buniek a potláča matricovú metaloproteinázu MMP-9, ktorá je produkovaná synoviálnymi bunkami, v porovnaní so svojimi zložkami, kyselinou hyalurónovou a zinkom, samotnými. |
