The use of amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate and pharmaceutical formulation containing thereof

The use of amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate in the manufacture of a medicament for treating bacterial infections in humans which comprises orally administering thereto a therapeutically effective amount of amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate such that the amount of amoxycillin is in the range 1900 to 2600 mg and the amount of potassium clavulanate is such that the weight ratio of amoxycillin to clavulanate is from 2 : 1 to 20 : 1, at intervals of about 12 h. Použitie amoxycilínu a klavulanátu draselného na výrobu lieku na liečenie bakteriálnych infekcií u ľudí, pričom podávanie liečiva poskytuje od 1900 do 2600 mg amoxycilínu a také množstvo klavulanátu draselného, že hmotnostný pomer amoxycilínu ku klavulanátu draselnému je od 2 : 1 do 20 : 1, pri intervaloch podávania asi 12 hodín.
