A preferred embodiment is the racemate resolution of 2-hydroxy-3-methoxy-3,3-diphenylpropionic acid or 2-hydroxy-3-methyl-3,3-diphenylpropionic acid.
Spôsob delenia racemátu 2-hydroxypropiónových kyselín reakciou racemickej kyseliny s opticky aktívnou zásadou a následným oddelením diastereoizomérnej soli kyseliny a zásady, pri ktorom sa ako opticky aktívna zásada použije 1-(4-chlórfenyl)etylamín.
