Zusammenfassung:	A description is given of a fuel filter and/or lubricating oil filter for internal combustion engines. This filter consists of a base plate (10) which can be fixed on a receiving part (11), a cover (13) which is releasably connected to the base plate (10), and of a filter insert (18) arranged in the body. The cover (13) is releasably arranged on the base plate (10), and, the filter insert (18) is arranged between said base plate (10) and cover (13) being supported and can be dismantled as well. A supporting tube (19) is accommodated on a cylindrical projection (30) of the cover (13) via connecting elements (27, 28) and a snap-in joint (29). The filter insert (18) is pushed onto the supporting tube (19).
