Zusammenfassung:Discrete individual bacteria micro-capsules being fatty acid coated are prepared by mixing freez-dried bacterial cultures with fatty acid and encapsulating said mixture on a rotary disc, whilst fat acid is C12 - C24 fatty acid, especially stearic acid. The micro-capsules comprise from about 50 to 90 percent by weight of the fatty acid component and the rest is added with bacteria Enterococcus faecium. A micro-capsule particle size ranges from 75 to 300 um. A process includes obtaining bacterial culture of dried bacteria, contacting thereof with from 50 to 90 by weight of a fatty acid melt, and processing said mixture in a rotary disc processor to provide individual coated free-flowing bacteria capsules. A rotary disc can be run at the rate of from 2,000 rpm to 4,000 rpm, preferably about 2,500 rpm to 3,200 rpm with a feed rate of from 50 grams to 200 grams per minute.
