The oil is mixed with a chemical substance and the compound is kept at temperature lower than 40 degrees Celsius thus forming particles which are then separated; the oil being deprived of the slime-forming substances is mixed with an alkali in an amount equal to from 0,01 to 100 percent of free fatty acid present in the oil deprived of the slime-forming substances.
