Zusammenfassung:The invention refers to the microbial process for the production of immunosuppresive cyclosporine antibiotic complex or its components, cyclosporine A, cyclosporine B and cyclosporine C with the help of aerobic fermentation of fibrous fungal strain, where the above antibiotic is biosynthesised on the nutrient medium, which contains useful sources of carbon and nitrogen as well as mineral salts and the resulting products are isolated. This comprises the cultivation of the strain of the new fungal species Tolypocladium varium, so that cyclosporine antibiotic complex is obtained, preferentially Tolypocladium varium sp. nov. CY/93, which is deposited at the National Collection of Agricultural and Industrial Microorganisms, Budapest, Hungary, under the number NCAIM(P)F 001005, on the nutrient medium which contains the sources of carbon, organic and inorganic sources of nitrogen, as well as mineral salts under aerobic conditions, at 25 to 30 degrees Centigrade and, if desired, the isolation and purification of cyclosporine antibiotic complex or its resulting components. The invention refers to the microbial process for the production of immunosuppresive cyclosporine antibiotic complex or its components, cyclosporine A, cyclosporine B and cyclosporine C with the help of aerobic fermentation of fibrous fungal strain, where the above antibiotic is biosynthesised on the nutrient medium, which contains useful sources of carbon and nitrogen as well as mineral salts and the resulting products are isolated.
