Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device (1) and a method for filling containers (100) with a filling product, preferably in a beverage filling installation, the device (1) being operable at different filler efficiencies as quantities of the containers (100) to be filled per unit time, and having at least one filling valve (2) which is designed to fill the containers (100) with the filling product, a filling valve (2) for introducing a filling product into the container (100) at a variable flow rate, the filling valve (2) preferably being a proportional valve; and a control device (150) which communicates with the filling valve (2) and is designed to actuate the filling valve (2) in such a way that the filling product is introduced into the respective container (100) during the filling process at at least one flow rate; the invention is characterized in that the control device (150) is designed to modify the flow rate as a function of a change in filler efficiency.
