Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to an earth station receiver device (3) arranged for receiving a set of data transmitted in super-frames by an earth station transmitter device of a satellite communication system, whereby at least one of said super-frames contains less than 415 pilot segments, said pilot segments obtained by inserting a pilot field of 36 super-frame pilot symbols type A as defined in DVB-S2X in between each pair of consecutive blocks of 16 capacity units, said capacity units each 90 symbols long and obtained by converting a super-frame preamble comprising a start of super-frame, SOSF, and a super-frame format indicator, SFFI, and a plurality of physical layer frames whereby a first subset of capacity units corresponding to said super-frame preamble is prepended to a second subset of capacity units corresponding to the plurality of physical layer frames.
