Zusammenfassung:	The device (1) has first and second physical ports (6,7) that are associated with the first and second control devices (2,3), and are adapted to transmit data from the transmission medium (16,16). The data (SD1) is transmitted from an internal transmission port (8) of the first control device via the first physical port coupled to the transmission medium. The data (ED1) is received by an internal receiving port (10) of the first control device through the second physical port. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a network assembly; (2) a method for operating network assembly; (3) a computer program product for operating network assembly; and (4) a data carrier with computer program for operating network assembly.
