Styrene polymer foam compound body

Composite body comprises at least two styrene polymer foam plates and an optionally crosslinked hot melt adhesive composition comprising at least one thermoplastic silane grafted poly-alpha -olefin that is solid at 25[deg] C, which is optionally subsequently crosslinked, lying between the styrene polymer foam plates. An independent claim is also included for bonding at least two styrene polymer foam plates, comprising (a) melting the hot melt adhesive composition and/or converting it into fluid state, (b) applying the molten hot melt adhesive composition on a first styrene polymer foam plate, (c) contacting the molten hot melt adhesive composition on the side facing away from the first plate, with a second styrene polymer foam plate, and (d) optionally cooling the molten hot melt adhesive composition and curing it, where the application quantity of the molten hot melt adhesive composition is 40-250 g/m 2>, preferably 80-150 g/m 2>.
