MIXING DEVICE FOR TESTING OF SOLUTION LEVEL IMITATING PERISTALTIC MOVEMENTS

The invention refers to a mixing device for testing of solution levels imitating peristaltic movements and the field of testing of solution levels as well as in particularly a device for testing solution levels which imitates the movements in the intestinal tract. The mixing device for testing solution levels imitating peristaltic movements is characterised by an adequate quantity of balls inside the mixing container, which includes a stirring staff and a media, which imitates the environment inside the intestinal tract. The quantity of balls is between the minimum quantity which has to cover the bottom of the container in a single layer to the maximum quantity representing the height of around 400 % of the diameter of the stirring staff. The density of the balls is between 1.1 to 5 g/cm3 and their diameter is between 0.2 to 2 mm. The balls, meaning the applied particles, are ball-shaped and made from glass, Teflon, TM or any other inert material which does not release any substances or particles and prevents any adsorption of the active agent onto the ball surface. The speed of rotating the stirring staff is between 5 and 150 revolutions per minute.
