Zusammenfassung: | The subject of invention is a procedure for improvement of thermal and wear resistance of parts made of electrically well conducting materials, particularly products made of copper and hardened copper alloys submitted to high mechanical, thermal and wear loads during their use. A typical example of such parts is a contact nozzle for welding under protective gas (MIG/MAG welding). The invention takes advantage of good mechanical, thermal and wear properties of iridium and/or osmium at elevated temperatures, which are applied, according to the invention, to parts of electrically well conducting materials, where the whole piece or only part of it is covered by a coating of iridium and/or osmium. By this, functional properties of such parts are essentially improved.
Predmet izuma je postopek za izboljšanje toplotne in obrabne obstojnosti delov iz električno dobro prevodnih materialov, še posebej izdelkov iz bakra in iz utrjenih bakrovih zlitin, ki so med uporabo podvrženi visokim mehanskim ter toplotnim in obrabnim obremenitvam. Tipični primer takih delov je kontaktna šoba za varjenje pod zaščitnim plinom (MIG/MAG varjenje). Izum izkorišča dobre mehanske, toplotne in obrabne lastnosti iridija in/ali osmija pri povišanih temperaturah, ki se jih po izumu nanese na dele iz električno dobro prevodnih materialov, pri čemer je celoten komad ali samo njegov del prekrit s prevleko iz iridija in/ali s prevleko iz osmija. S tem se bistveno izboljšajo funkcionalne lastnosti teh delov. |
