DEVICE FOR MONITORING AND GUIDING TRAFFIC IN TUNNELS

The aim of this invention is to provide the concept of a device, which can be located in a road or railway or other tunnel, while such a device should provide the option of detecting dangerous or unwanted phenomena and on the other side the option of providing messages on appropriate immediate measures to people inside the tunnel. At the same time such a device would not in any way hinder regular and necessary activities regarding ensuring undisturbed traffic through the tunnel or its maintenance. Such a device, which in general consists of at least one supervisory station (1), connected to at least one supervisory-controlled assembly (2), which leads along the whole tunnel shaft (3), according to the invention includes at least two supervisory-controlled assemblies (2), which are installed and leading along each of the tunnel shafts (3). The assemblies (2) are connected to at least two supervisory stations (1), while each supervisory-controlled assembly (2) includes: an alarm switch group (21), located at a predefined distance among them, along the assembly (2) or tunnel shaft (3), a group of measurement instruments (22), located on a predefined distance among them, along the assembly (2) or tunnel shaft (3), a group of display units (23), located on a predefined distance among them, along the assembly (2) or tunnel shaft (3). The specified alarm switches (21), measurement instruments (22) and display units (23) are connected by transmission means (24) to at least one computer (11), which is an integral part of the supervisory station (1).
