Zusammenfassung:	A hand mixer (1), especially for domestic or commercial use, comprises a housing in which a motor (6) is arranged and a drive unit (7) driven by said motor (6), at least one attachment being connectible to said drive unit, for rotatingly driving the attachment. The drive unit (7) is fastened on the housing in such a manner that a part of the forces acting upon the drive unit (7) is received by the housing when the hand mixer (1) is operated. The invention advantageously simplifies the construction and assembly of modern hand mixers (1) and also contributes to reducing the weight thereof.
