Zusammenfassung:	In a valve housing (3) there is mounted, so as to be displaceable to an axially limited extent, a pressure pin (2) which is under the action of a valve spring (5). A position sensor (23), which is exposed to a magnet (15) arranged in the pressure pin (2), is fixedly arranged in the valve housing (3) next to the pressure pin (2). In the event of a change of the pressure in the pressure cooker, the pressure pin (2) is displaced, the magnetic flux density at the location of the magnetic position sensor changing correspondingly. The voltage which can be picked up at the position sensor (23) is a direct measure of the pressure prevailing in the pressure cooker.
