Zusammenfassung:	In known remote-controlled electronic appliances for entertainment, the execution of a command is displayed on the appliance. The displays are sometimes difficult to read at distance. The aim of the invention is to provide the user with a visible display of essential information on the remote control unit itself. A sender arranged in the remotely controlled appliance comprises a control logic which transmits, cyclically and with intervening pauses, current operating and setting data of the appliance to the remote control unit, which is equipped with a receiver.
