Zusammenfassung:	A disposable diaper is provided with at least one pair of leg-encircling elastic members (3), which can be stretched in the product length direction (L), and which are further to the outside in the product width direction (W) than the widest (Wnax) positions of an absorbent body (2C), and at least one pair of inner elastic members (4), which can be stretched in the product length direction (L), which are further to the inside in the product width direction (W) than the leg-encircling elastic members (3), and which are further to the outside in the product width direction (W) than the widest (Wmax1/Wmax2) positions of the absorbent body (2C). On the abdominal side (F), a narrowed section (2C1) extends further to the outside in the product length direction (L) than the range (R1) of effective length of the leg-encircling elastic members (3), and the ends (E1) of the effective length of the inner elastic members (4) on the abdominal side (F) are situated, in the product length direction (L), in the range (R2) within which the narrowed section (2C1) is provided.
