Zusammenfassung:A glass-ceramic containing (wt.% on oxide):SiO2 (35-60), Ba2O3 (greater than 4-10), P2O5 (0-10), Al2O3 (16.5-40), TiO2(1-10), Ta2O5 (0-8), Y2O3 (0-6), ZrO2 (1-10), MgO (6-20), CaO (0-10), SrO (0-4), BaO (0-8), ZnO (0-4), SnO2+CeO2 (0-4), and SO42-+Cl- (0-4). Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for preparation of the glass-ceramic by melting a composition containing (wt.5 on oxide):SiO2 (35060), B2O3 (greater than 4-10), P2O5 (0-10), Al2O3 (16.5-40), TiO2 (1-10, and Y2O3 (0-6), where the heat treatment during ceramic production is controlled so that an yttrium-containing crystal phase is produced, e.g. a spinel and/or sapphire and/or cordierite (sic) phase; (2) a semiconductor substrate based on the glass-ceramic; (3) a solid plate storage substrate based on the glass-ceramic; (4) an optical display with a transparent glass-ceramic substrate; (5) a semiconductor structural element, especially a diode or thin film transistor with at least one glass-ceramic; (6) a flat computer monitor with at least one glass ceramic; (7) a light active semiconductor element, especially a solar cell, with a glass-ceramic substrate.
