This insulating box body has a rear wall, a left and right side wall extending from the left and right sides of the rear wall, an upper wall and a lower wall, the front face of the insulating box body being open, and is provided with: a vacuum insulating material which is provided between an inner box forming the inner surface of the rear wall and an outer box forming the outer surface of the rear wall, or, between the inner box forming the inner surface of the side walls and the outer box forming the outer surface of the side walls; and an interposed material which is filled, sealed, coated or arranged between the vacuum insulating material and the inner box, and which adheres, bonds or fixes the vacuum insulating material and the inner box, wherein said interposed material is a urethane foam and the thickness thereof is less than or equal to 11mm.
