Zusammenfassung:	Method for packing paper. The method is chiefly intended to be used for kitchen paper, toilet paper and the like. According to the invention the paper is folded into a zig- zag stack 1 and is moistened before, after or during folding. The stack is compressed and dried, whilst the compression pressure is maintained. In this manner sharp creases are produced in the paper. The stack 1 is compact since it will not have any resilient tendency, thanks to the sharp creases.
