A device by means of which high-pressure air is used to remove falling and/or fallen snow from roofs or similar surfaces where as a source one uses, for example, one or more fans that generate high-pressure air. In addition, the device includes a number of openings arranged in or at the roof and an air connection 26, 27, 28 between the source and the openings. The high-pressure air comes out through said openings and makes contact with said snow. Said air line connection includes channels 15', 15", 15'" arranged in the ceiling or the surface's coverage material 9, 10, 11 where said channels in one end are connected to an opening of said openings. At its other end, the channel is connected to the source 34 either directly or through one or more line connection elements which thus include distribution drums 17, 18, 19 or air line connectors 26, 27, 28 installed under the ceiling.
