Zusammenfassung: | A pulverulent material is obtained composed of particles or agglomerates which do not segregate when the material is projected at high temperature onto a substrate by subjecting a mixture of two or more materials in powder form to heat treatment at a sufficient temperature and for a sufficient time to produce chemical reaction between the materials and temporary softening of the materials. A pulverulent material is thereby formed consisting of spheroidal particles or spheroidal agglomerates. The specification describes the production of pulverulent material consisting of: a cermet of Al2O3, Ni, and Al; a matrix of Ni-Cr alloy containing inclusions of niobium carbonitride; an Al2O3-Cu cermet nucleus surrounded by a surface layer of Al2O3; and TiO2-Al2O3-SiO2. |
