Zusammenfassung:	An oral compsn. comprises a non-steroidal antiinflammatory (I), which causes gastric lesions, enough of an imidazole or benzimidazole (II), or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, to inhibit or prevent induction of such lesions ions by (I), and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle. (II) can also be used to prevent non-steroidal analgesics and antipyretics from causing gastric lesions. A capsule comprises 325 mg acetylsalicylic acid, 260 mg imidazole and 200mg CaHPO4 the last acting as a barrier between the other 2 components.
