A COFFEE BEAN GRINDER

The present disclosure presents a standalone coffee bean grinder (1) and an associated coffee brewer (2). The coffee bean grinder (1) is operable to receive a signal including water level information from the coffee brewer (2) and to control the grinding mechanism thereof in dependence of the thus received water level information. The amount of water contained in a water container (22) of the separate coffee brewer (2) as indicated by the received water level information can thus determine the amount of coffee beans to be ground by the coffee bean grinder (1). This may allow for more accurate and repeatable brew quality and, also, the coffee drinking experience may be improved for certain users.
