Zusammenfassung:	The invention is related to a method and system (100, 200) for calibrating an eye tracking device (106, 206) configured to track a gaze point of a user (102, 202) on a display (104, 204). The method comprises: presenting (S100, S200) a video (116, 216) on the display (104, 204) to a user (102, 202), the video (116, 216) having a start size and a start position; tracking the gaze of the user (102, 202), using an image sensor (108, 208) of the eye tracking device (106, 206); and sequentially completing, for at least one calibration position, the steps of: resizing (S102, S202) the video (116, 216) to a calibration size, wherein the calibration size is smaller than the start size, and translating the video (116, 216) to a calibration position; recording (S104, S204) calibration data, using the eye tracking device (106, 206), for the user (102) viewing the video (116, 216) in the calibration position; and resizing (S106, S206) the video (116, 216) to a second size that is greater than the calibration size.
