The method (400) comprises: determining (401) the current position (210) of the vehicle (100); determining (402) the destination (220) of the vehicle (100); calculating (403) a recommended route (230) from the current position (210) to the destination (220); detecting (404) a restriction of the recommended route (230); determining (405) that the vehicle (100) does not fulfil the detected (404) restriction of the recommended route (230); determining (407) an action the vehicle (100) would have to do in order to fulfil the detected (404) restriction of the recommended route (230); and informing (408) a driver of the vehicle (100) of the determined (407) action.
