Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a drill pipe (1) comprising at least a central portion (2), a first end piece (3) and a second end piece (4), where the end pieces (3, 4) permit interconnection with mating parts of another drill pipe (1), said central portion (2) comprising a cylindrical tube, wherein said central portion (2) is arranged with an inner pipe (5) arranged at an inner wall (20) of said central portion (2) and having a wall thickness (t) which reduces the volume (V) of the void inside the central portion (2) with at least 10 %, more preferred at least 25 % and most preferred at least 50 %.
