Exploiting services offered as sub=networks in telecommunications network, using control unit to convert signal protocol into that actually required by specific sub=network

A control unit (K) introduced into the telecommunications network (K) communicates with the contacted sub-network (DA-DC) and converts the signal protocol into actual signal protocol required for that particular sub-network. The control unit also transfers information between sub-networks. The sub-networks use signal protocol for internal communication and signal transfer within the respective sub-network, and the signal protocol is used to set up communication within and between sub-networks, as well as for the exploitation of services offered within the sub-networks. An Independent claim is also included for the service system. IMAGING AND COMMUNICATION - The control unit transfers commands to nodes (L) in the sub-networks, the commands being used to monitor and initiate services. The control unit also receives information from these nodes once the customer has been connected to a service.
