Zusammenfassung:At least one braking wheel (18) is aligned with the runner wheels (14) and when the skate or board is in a certain position the braking wheel contacts the floor and is pressed against a brake body in the skate frame, so that the skate or board is braked as a result of the friction between the braking wheel and braking body. The braking wheel has a roller surface for contact with the floor during braking, and at least one braking surface which is separate from the roller surface and designed to come into contact with the corresponding brake body surface during braking.
