Zusammenfassung:	An elongated container for a pressurized medium containing two bowl-shaped container parts (10, 11), which are welded together at their edges (16, 17) to form a closed vessel. The halves of the container have such a depth, that the joined vessel has a dimension perpendicular to the joining plane. The halves of the container (10, 11) are manufactured through cupping and can during cupping be given a greater thickness at the edges (16, 17) than in the other parts, whereby welding is made easier.
