Upright stand for use with an easily exchanged punch or stamp toolset

A pillar arrangement which is designed for use together with one of two built up inset elements, each on their own base-plates (18,19), and each having light, replaceable punching or stamping tools, involves two horizontal and mutually mobile support plates (11, 15) on a vertical joint. Each support plate (11, 15) displays a deployment surface (16, 17) for the support plates (18, 19) which faces the opposite support plate and has an accompanying inset element and a pair of moving spring-clamps (20), which can be deployed against the opposite edge sections (31) at the inset element's base plate (18, 19) in order to bring this in line with the support plates' (11, 15) deployment surface (16, 17) in a position dictated by the control units (32, 33). Each one of the two spring-clamps (20) for each support plate (11, 15) is mounted and pivots around an axle (21) running parallel with the support plates' (11,15) deployment surface (16,17). The spring-clamps (20) are individually manoeuvrable, with the help of their own manual manoeuvring element (28), by which their respective rear-sides (20) can swing between a free position and a fixed position.
