Zusammenfassung:A method and a device for drying granulated dielectric materials by means of hot air and ultra high frequency wave energy. The granules are moved at a variable speed into a heating zone, subjected to air supply for providing a negative temperature gradient in the granules. The air temperature is kept 20-50 degrees centigrade below the limit heating temperature of the granules. The device comprises two vertical waveguides interconnected by a waveguide elbow and is provided with an air inlet and a granules inlet and an air separator and a resonator bin, respectively.
