1279908 Yarn texturing jet device EI DU PONT DE NEMOURS & CO 9 Nov 1970 [10 Nov 1969] 53238/70 Heading D1L A jet device for texturing yarn comprises a hollow body member 1 forming a fluid chamber, an inlet 11 for introducing pressurised fluid into the chamber, a tube 3 extending into the chamber for introducing yarn and a nozzle 2 forming a common exit for yarn and fluid, wherein the nozzle 2 is mounted on the body member 1 and is movable from a position close to the tube 3 for threading the yarn through the device to a position further away for operation. Means are provided for stopping movement of the nozzle at a preset operating position. The adjusting means may be a screw thread, the limits of movement being defined by stop-screws 6 and 7, or as in Fig. 2, the nozzle may slide into position, the position being set by means of screws 9.
