Zusammenfassung:	The machine cuts off sausages from a long string in which the sausages are interconnected by binding formed by the skin of each sausage. The machine has two sets of rollers, the second set being of larger diameter than the first and the string of sausages passes between and is stretched by the rollers. A detector device follows the contour of the string of sausages and moves, when it detects the join between two sausages in order to operate a cutting device which cuts the stretched join between the sausages.
