[Also in Division C7] Aluminium-milled carbon steel containing 0À075 to 0À050% soluble aluminium and 0À004% to 0À008% soluble nitrogen is hot-rolled, cold reduced by 70 to 85% and annealed, the heating rate in the final anneal being about 20 C./hour over the recrystallization range. As exemplified, hot-rolling was finished at 860-870 C. and the steel was cooled at 520-530 C.
