Zusammenfassung:	A computer system (200) for automated disconnection and/or shutdown of an energy storage system in a vehicle during a vehicle accident is provided, including processing circuitry (210) configured to: obtain readings from one or more sensors (130, 140, 142, 150, 152) of the vehicle pertinent to at least one of an acceleration, speed and roll-angle of the vehicle; based on the readings, detect that the vehicle is involved in an accident, and, in response to the detection, cause a disconnection and/or shutdown of an energy storage system (170) of the vehicle. A corresponding vehicle, in particular an articulated dump-truck, as well as a method performed by the processing circuitry, a computer program and computer program product are also provided.
